CHIEF MECHANIC, Brian has been our head mechanic for the past five years. His responsibility is keeping all of our equipment running. He is so busy, no one here at the area is quite sure WHAT he looks like.
CHIEF SNOWMAKER, Dave has been making snow here at Alpine Valley for 21 years. Dave's day starts at 8:00pm and ends at 8:00am. He works all night to make sure the snow is ready for skiing/snowboarding.
OPERATIONS MANAGER, Gail gets the longevity award for our team here at Alpine Valley. Gail has been here so long, she changed her last name to reflect how committed she is to her job. Her job description includes all lodge and office operations..... from french fries to friendly bar keepers.
MOUNTAIN MANAGER, Kevin has been here at Alpine for the past 24 years. He is in charge of all outside operations. During the course of a typical winter at Alpine, Kevin will log enough miles on his 4-wheeler to make it from Alpine to Los Angeles and back.
OFFICE MANAGER, Mari has been working for Alpine for the past 13 years. When she is not out snowboarding, she is making sure tickets/groups and season passes are distributed in an orderly manner. Mari also works as our in-house photographer....so if you see her on the slopes.....SMILE!!!! :-)
CHAIRLIFT MANAGER, Shannon has worked for the past 14 years on the lifts here at Alpine. She is responsible for making sure that all lifts are in proper working order along with operators to run each one. A typical day for Shannon starts at 8:00am and ends when the slopes close at night.
GROOMER, Tim has worked in various positions here at Alpine Valley for the past 21 years. His job is to make sure the snow surface is the best it can be. Tim usually ends his day by testing (skiing) the snow after a grooming shift.
